The short circuit of the resistor body is generally easier to handle, as long as the length and thickness of the resistance wire are not affected, find the short circuit and dry it to strengthen the insulation. To repair the open circuit of the resistor body, it is necessary to change the length of the resistance wire to affect the resistance value. For this reason, it is better to replace the new resistor body. If welding is used for repair, it must be verified after welding before use.
